Gingerbread Village

As I was wandering around this small town, I discovered this quaint little bakery, and the smell of cakes and gingerbread lured me inside. Can't help it, gingerbread is my weakness. As soon as I stepped in, I saw this adorable setup from the {Why Not?} Gingerbread Village Gacha at The Gacha Garden and I just knew I had to show you all. I mean, just look at how cute it is! I was joking with the owner that I didn't know whether I wanted to just look at it in awe, or try to eat it lol. Of course I knew I couldn't. Real gingerbread doesn't have a way to light up, and a real gingerbread train wouldn't actually go around the tracks.

Under normal circumstances, I'd be irritated at seeing Christmas stuff out in mid-November, but this year...well, things are different. I think everyone needs a little extra holiday spirit, and good will towards their fellow man. Decorate early. Bring some joy in your life, however you can.

As for me, I'm going to catch my flight home, and enjoy the next couple of weeks with my family. As always, thanks for reading, and Happy Thanksgiving to my US readers!!

The Better Life

I know, I know. I'm supposed to be showing you guys the wonderful spots of the city I'm in. But I can't help showing off the pool at the hotel! Beautifully done with the [Since1975] "Rock Pool" gacha at The Gacha Garden, it's just so gorgeous. The waterfall constantly pumping new water into it, the bar next to the pool, the comfy lounge beds under a canopied trellis, the rocks...it all comes together to make a pool that I don't want to leave!

When we first walked out, I was blown away by the sheer beauty and size of this pool. Then I dipped my toes in and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's heated! Even with the chill in the early November air, I was able to comfortably swim. Pretty sure I spent at least an hour just swimming and floating at sunrise before getting out and getting myself a drink...which was absolutely delicious, by the way.

All right, all right. Enough gushing about the pool. I need to get myself to bed so I can actually get some work done tomorrow. Like...exploring the city and seeing what it has to offer. Something tells me I'm going to thoroughly enjoy it. And yes, I will be taking another swim tomorrow evening lol. Have a wonderful evening, everyone, and thanks for reading!

The Good Life

Well, another month is here. And though I definitely enjoy my time at home at the end of each month, that doesn't pay the bills, so...back to work. And as usual, I'm showing you all where I'll be staying for the next couple weeks or so. And you all, seriously...LOOK at this! I mean, really. I still have trouble believing that this is my life. That I get to stay in places like this. This suite was gorgeously decorated using the [Since1975] "Black Lux" gacha at The Gacha Garden and it is just amazing.

I just got here after a delayed flight, so I haven't had much of a chance to relax yet, but let me tell you, that couch looks SO comfortable. I can't wait to just lounge on it while having a drink and catching up on social media. Yeah, drinks included with the cost. No massive bill to worry about with hidden charges. That's always a relief.

Anyway, I'm exhausted from the flight, and the delays that caused me to get in at an ungodly hour, so I'm going to grab a quick nap before starting my day. Just wanted to show you all this gorgeous sitting area of the suite. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and as always, thanks for reading!

The Laboratory

So, I'm pretty hard to scare when it comes to Halloween stuff. BUT...I can get creeped out, and let me tell you, this did it. My husband called and told me I needed to check out The Laboratory by 22769 at the GachaLand Spooktacular Event before coming home, and just...wow. This is seriously creepy, you guys. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I had entered an actual mad scientist's lab. As we looked around, I kept peeking over my shoulder, half expecting to see Frankenstein's creation sneaking up on me, or maybe even the doctor himself, wanting to use some of my parts.

I don't know what they used for the "bucket of guts" there on the floor, but guys...it looked real. So did the brain in a jar, as well as the bug & worm in jars. The tools...I think they were real. Everything was so well done, even the blood looked like actual blood. My assistant Nica couldn't even stay in there longer than a few minutes. Didn't realize she was so easily spooked.

If you get a chance to check this out, I highly HIGHLY recommend it. But don't wait too long, it'll be gone at the end of the month!

I hope you've enjoyed reading this. I'm going to relax, maybe take a bubble bath to sooth away the creep factor, and enjoy my night before flying home in the morning. Happy Halloween everyone!!

Funniest Halloween Decorations Ever

Gimme Gacha Blog: Gimme Gacha Site

So originally I came to this little town because I had heard about their annual Haunted Warehouse, but, as luck would have it, it had to close down due to Covid the day before I arrived. Of course I was seriously bummed, but decided to wander around just to see all the decorations. Well, just walking through a neighborhood at the edge of town, you guys...I found Halloween GOLD. I started laughing so hard when I saw this that I could barely let my assistant know what I was laughing at. I could only point, and of course, when she saw, she started cracking up and agreed we just HAD to stop.

The house belongs to a sweet older lady who happily agreed to let us get pictures, and gave me permission to blog about her set up. Turns out she does something funny every year, just to remind people that laughter can be part of everything in life. This year she chose these hilarious skeletons from ::Ink Me:: at the GachaLand Event, and personally, I am SOOO glad she did. My assistant managed to snap this picture of me, still laughing as I was wandering around looking at them all. I hope you enjoy them even half as much as I did, because these are seriously the funniest Halloween decorations I've ever seen.

After a few minutes of looking around, and laughing, she brought us cups of her homemade apple cider, from her own apples (tree is in the background), and OMG it was the best. She said she simply couldn't let us leave without something to warm us up, and we were more than happy to oblige her. She was your stereotypical sweet grandma, guys. Apple cider, and even pumpkin brownies. Nica & I agreed that next year we absolutely HAVE to come back to see what she does.

With that, I'm going to end this, because with it's late, and I'm exhausted from all that walking. Note to self: get better walking shoes. Goodnight, dear readers. Stay safe!

Charming Little Cottage

For this trip I decided to do something a bit different, and instead of getting a hotel, I used AirBnB and rented this ADORABLE little cottage for me and my assistant. Guys, seriously, just LOOK at this living room!! It was so charmingly decorated by Dreamland Designs for the GachaLand Event and it's just too cute! This couch is huge! I mean, look. My assistant got a picture of me sprawled out, and I'm DWARFED by it. And OMG is it ever comfortable!

I spent a few minutes after we arrived just wandering around, looking at the pictures. They're so nice! I mean, the whole setup is just awesome. I'm thinking I might have to go AirBnB some more in the future. We have this entire cottage all to ourselves for the next few days. It's GREAT!

Ok guys, I'm gonna end this here for now. I know it's a bit shorter than normal, but I'm tired after the flight. Tomorrow I'm gonna start wandering around and seeing how things are set up in this city for autumn, and Halloween. HALLOWEEN!! Ohhhh it's my favorite time of year! I can't wait to show you all the things I see! Everyone take care!

Welcoming Autumn

So normally I don't go to small towns, and certainly not to tiny little farming communities. But one of my friends kept telling me about her little bitty hometown, and how I just absolutely HAD to visit there, so I finally caved, and went with her during her vacation so she could show me around. And oh, dear reader, am I ever glad I did. Turns out this place has a fairly decent tourist season in the fall, because of their pumpkin patch and corn maze. But those weren't what got me. This adorable little community greenhouse did. It's the {Why Not?} "Lismore Greenhouse" Gacha at The Imaginarium and it is just too quaint for words. I mean, just look at it! Even a little bench out front to relax. Come on, let's take a closer look.

This is the garden behind the greenhouse. Isn't it adorable??? Not gonna lie, I was tempted to get myself a fresh-from-the-ground carrot, but I figured they're there for the community, so I managed to restrain myself. It's just so neat and orderly. I don't know how they keep rabbits out, but it seems they must have some way, because this little garden is perfectly undisturbed. And the pumpkins you see are just the perfect size for pies. The pumpkin patch has the big, and I do mean BIG, ones for carving. But that's outside of town. I may go there, and cover it in a different post. Not sure yet. Now, let's go inside.

Look at how neat and organized this is! I can't even keep my suitcase this well done lol. I am so impressed by how well done this is. And I found out, they even bring the school kids here to teach them about gardening! Not just the teenagers either. All the way down. Even the preschoolers have field trips to the greenhouse, and they help out! As a matter of fact, shortly after I got these pictures, a group showed up and I had to scoot out of the way. But they were a delight to watch. Such well-behaved children.

Anyway, I just had to show you all this little community greenhouse. I loved it. Now I think I'm going to go to the little diner here in town and get myself a nice big slice of pumpkin pie, and a mug of apple cider. The apples for it come from the apple tree right next to the greenhouse. Happy Autumn everyone!!
